Decide proprietorship vs company vs LLP with someone who will also handle your returns later. See company registration basics.
Month 1: Money hygiene
- Business bank account
- Basic bookkeeping tool or disciplined spreadsheet
- Invoice template with correct legal name and GSTIN if any
GST and tax — on purpose
Register for GST when the law and your model require it — not because an accelerator template said so. Pair with GST registration guidance and income tax support.
What to postpone
Overbuilt ERP, unnecessary registrations, and five advisors who do not talk to each other. One accountable CA practice beats a stack of PDFs. When you do need systems later, start with IT consultancy before a full ERP go-live.
